Mondy

Mahyar Zarifi — known as Mondy or prodbymondy — is a music producer, mix engineer, pianist and saxophonist based in Vienna, Austria, with a foundation in classical music and jazz that runs through everything he makes.

His musicianship has led to collaborations with emerging and established artists across numerous singles and albums. As a producer and mix engineer, he has worked on widely streamed releases with the Radio Javan label, reaching millions of streams with artists such as Emma, Tamara and Saaren.

Alongside these projects he collaborates with international indie artists and members of Austria's music scene — including releases with Boerni, Maddy Rose and Kathi Atz — and is one half of the duo Ermonduo. He has performed in live and studio sessions including the BBC Music Event, and composed music for visual media such as the ENTHEON exhibition in London.

Experienced across indie pop, neo-soul and hip-hop through to electronic and organic house, he works closely with Vienna City Sound Studio as a resident producer, combining live instrumentation with modern sound design.
